Michael Biase

CEO / Managing Partner

Michael Biase is the CEO and Managing Partner of Five Star Technology Group. Mike founded the company in 2016 and has over 13 years in the telecommunications industry working with AT&T.

Prior to forming Five Star Technology Group Michael had various roles within the AT&T organization ranging from Enterprise Sales to Sales Management. Michael was a sales leader with a successful track record achieving Diamond Club, multiple Sell to Excel trips and top ranked among his peers through out the country. Michael has a mobility background with experience in Voice & Data services, Mobile Applications, Telecom Expense Management, IoT, development of industry specific strategic partnerships, Professional Services and much of the mobility portfolio within AT&T.

Michael’s most important focus has and will always be client satisfaction. “I stress to my team that Quality, Efficiency and Transparency are most important to meet and exceed expectations”

Jim Byrne

COO / Managing Partner

As the COO and Managing Partner, Jim oversees Sales Operations, New Business Development, Strategic Partnerships Engagement and Client Services. Jim brings to Five Star Technology Group more than 20 years of extensive leadership experience in the Communications and Technology Industry within Mobility Solutions, Project Management, and Service Management.

Prior to joining FSTG, Jim spent most of his professional career with AT&T where he built and led various Teams of Sales Professionals delivering exemplary results for AT&T and the Enterprise clients they served.

Silvia Fernandes-Barros

Director Client Experience & Support

Silvia has been serving Director of Client Experience and Support at Five Star Technology Group since it was founded in 2016. She is responsible for managing the Service Management and Processing Teams as well as for driving FSTG’s vision of delivering a seamless and consistent client experience.

In addition, Silva provide Leadership, Operational guidance and direction to the entire Support Team. From a tactical perspective, Silvia assist the Sales Team on large projects & deployments ensuring continuity to meet and exceed the high standards we set as an organization. Wearing many hats may be impossible for some managers but Silvia makes it look effortless. Prior to working at Five Star she worked at AT&T as a sales associate. She spent the next 16 years working as a service manager serving AT&T’s Premier Client Group. Silvia priority was building solid relationships with all her clients and creating an outstanding relationship between her client and AT&T. She always had a successful track record of providing 100 % customer satisfaction from all her clients. Her award -winning client management combined with her stellar knowledge of Mobility voice and data services led to her being chosen as Manager of her team.

Silvia’s favorite role is as a wife and mother. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and their daughter.

Juan-Perez

Juan Perez Cordero

Director Mobility Applications

As Mobility Applications Director, Juan Perez is responsible to act as a customer advocate by providing a highly consultative approach for end to end Mobility Solutions encompassing the Internet of Things and Security Services among others.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the Information, Communications and Technology industry, Juan is a well-rounded technology professional where he has enabled growth and transformation to companies and top-tier customers, providing strategic leadership around the globe. Juan comes from Ericsson where he was Strategy Operations Directors having the opportunity to acquire extensive experience in a dynamic range of competences in relevant areas such as: pre-sales, service operations management, corporate strategic planning, business development and program/project management. Juan holds a telecommunications and electronic engineering degree.

Dana Grusse

Director of Sales

Dana Grusse is a Director of Sales for Five Star Technology Group based in Boston, MA area. Prior to Five Star Technology Group, Dana has spent the past 20+ years of his career consulting with clients and driving successful relationships.

He started working with the NFL and after achieving his MBA degree; he has spent the past 14 years immersed in the mobility industry with AT&T, specifically focused in the enterprise mobility space.
Kim-Jones

Kim Jones

HR/Office Operation Manager

Kim became the Human Resource/Office Operations Manager in 2018 handling employee relations, regulatory compliance and employee related services such as payroll, training and benefits.

In her operations role, she is responsible for analyzing and improving organizational processes as she works to ensure company productivity and efficiency. Prior to working at Five Star Technology Group, Kim spent 25 years working for senior leadership within corporate sales at AT&T.

When she is not at work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Inez Rodriguez

Support Manager

Inez has been with Five Star Technology Group since it was founded in 2016. Prior to FSTG, she spent 5 years with AT&T where she acted as team leader for the processing team. Inez worked with various AT&T ordering systems over the years, and brings that expertise to FSTG.

She has helped create workflow processes and improve efficiencies in our back office ensuring a positive client experience. Inez is extremely dedicated and takes a tremendous amount of pride in her work. She will always be a strong asset to the company.

Christine Baldes

National Account Executive

Christine Baldes is a National Account Executive based in the New York Metropolitan area. Prior to joining Five Star Technology Group, Chris served 16 years at AT&T in customer facing roles, in both sales and client service management within the Global Signature/Premier enterprise space.

She collaborated with internal and external partners to support a variety of AT&T client solutions across numerous industry verticals. Chris has a passion for connecting with people, developing trusted relationships and delivering best-in-class customer service and solutions.

Christine lives in northern NJ with her two daughters and their tabby cat, Sunny. She also enjoys running, tennis and live music.

Brandon Hubbard

National Account Executive

Brandon Hubbard is a National Account Executive for Five Star Technology Group based in Dallas, TX. Prior to joining Five Star Technology Group in August 2018, Brandon served as a Mobility Client Solutions Executive for AT&T Enterprise Business Solutions, and a Client Director for Sprint Business Strategic Accounts.

Brandon has more than 12 years of mobility sales experience, predominantly spent with AT&T working with large enterprise customers. In his role, Brandon takes a consultative approach to identify key areas impacting his customers business and goals, providing thought leadership, and strategically positioning AT&T’s comprehensive portfolio of business solutions to solve business challenges. Brandon maintains a history of success, receiving numerous Sell-to-Excel, Circle of Excellence, and Diamond Club awards throughout his tenue at AT&T.

Brandon lives with his wife and two young children in Plano, TX. He is a graduate of Texas Tech, an avid golfer, hunter, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Henry (Hank) Deraney

National Account Executive

Hank Deraney, National Account Executive based in the New York area; and was a top performer at AT&T for over eight years. His knowledge and skill set of the products and services is in the industry has always made him a leader in the organization.

Hank built a tremendous amount of respect from his peers and clients simply by his professionalism. He’s truly a trusted partner who goes above and beyond at all times for anyone.

Hank keeps very active on his personal time and spends as much quality time with family as possible.

Our Dedicated Service and Order Fulfillment team has over 140 years of combined AT&T experience. Our team will provide you with a dedicated and personalized Service Manager to address your needs, not limited to: Project Management, Account Reporting, Account Updates, New Line Activations, Upgrades, Feature changes and many more of the day to day client requests. Our team is here to help strengthen the client relationship providing white glove service.

Mark Barros

Dedicated Service / Account Manager

Mark joined Five Star as an Account Manager in April 2018. In addition to providing order consultation and service management to his customers, he also manages the equipment buyback and accessory pricing processes. Prior to Five Star he spent 18 years at AT&T serving customers in many roles such as sales support, program manager, service manager and contracts manager.

He is a strong subject matter expert in all wireless products and solutions and always provides top notch problem solving for both corporate telecom managers and end users. Mark’s dedication to the promotion of mobility services and customer service led him to win multiple AT&T awards.
Mark earned a Master of Art’s degree in Public and Organizational Relations from Montclair State University in 2012, aiming to become more of a strategic asset in business development and customer communications. Mark’s passion and relentless work ethic allow him to continue to be a true ambassador of Five Star Technology Group. Mark lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter. He loves watching his beloved New York Mets. Mark is also a self -described “fiction junkie” and enjoys reading all sorts of mystery and thriller novels.

Service Manager

Daphne Jordan is a Service Manager with Five Star Technology Group. Daphne joined the company in 2018. Daphne is retired from United States Air Force and brings over 15 years’ experience with AT&T.

Daphne filled many roles while working at AT&T, but the majority of her time was spent as a service executive. Her reputation is second to none as both sales personnel and customers alike know her as being committed, dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to resolve issues. Daphne resides in Las Vegas, NV with her husband, who is also retired from the Air Force. They have one adult son.

Marisa joined Five Star Technology Group in January 2018 as a Service Manager. Prior to joining Five Star, she worked for 8 years with AT&T in their mobility division, having roles in both sales and service management.

Cecelia Casey (CeCe) joined Five Star Technology Group as a Service Manager in 2017. She’s an expert with providing knowledge of all Mobility systems along with performing analysis, service delivery, account reviews and advocating escalations on our clients’ behalf with a smile.

CeCe brings with her 20+ years of accomplished and effective Customer/Sales Support, strong relationship building, diversity facilitation and project management expertise which was acquired from her tenure with AT&T Communications. While successfully hosting a plethora of roles during her career span, her passion lies in effective team building and motivation along with treating all customer’s both internal and external as “Paramount.”
CeCe enjoys traveling with her husband – best friend Marlon along with spending rich quality time with family and friends. Her favorite quote is…”If you don’t have a smile, I’ll give you one of mine.”

Donald Alexander onboarded with the Five Star Technology Team as a Service Manager/Order Processor in 2018. Donald is a seasoned customer success professional with a proven track record of managing customer relationships and engagement.

Prior to working at Five Star Technology Group, Donald has over 20 years of expertise in the telecommunications industry with AT&T Mobility. Donald brings a passion for excellence in customer service to his role. Donald focuses on product and service adoption and utilization through proactive customer interactions, leading to increased retention and renewals. Donald’s high degree of personal accountability and integrity allows him to own the overall relationship with assigned customers, becoming a trusted and strategic advisor. Donald is a strong team player with a demonstrated ability to seek solutions and to solve problems.

Pablo Rodriguez, Sales Support Specialist based in the New York area; has an extensive product and service knowledge gained from his seven years with AT&T.

His desire to always deliver the best results for his clients set him apart in his various roles within the organization. This desire led to numerous awards and market recognition during his tenure with AT&T. Pablo has always taken pride in his work and willingness to assist others succeed in their projects. Pablo is a proud father of his newborn daughter and is an avid sports fan.
